What I’m
researching.

The businesses behind AI infrastructure, life-science tools, and advanced manufacturing.

01

AI infrastructure

Semiconductors, high-performance computing, and the systems behind AI. I’m interested in the capacity, cost, and operating constraints that determine what can be deployed at scale.

02

Life-science tools

Research tools, medical technology, and emerging uses of nanotechnology. I look at the evidence behind a technology, how it is adopted, and the business model that supports it.

03

Advanced manufacturing

Automation, equipment, and production processes. I look at reliability, productivity, and the investment required to move from a promising demonstration to repeatable results.

What changes in practice?

I’m interested in what a technology changes for the people who use it, how it fits into existing operations, and whether the economics work as adoption grows.

Conversations with founders, engineers, and researchers help me understand the practical constraints. Financial analysis helps me assess the costs, capital needs, and potential for a sustainable business.
